LocalReply AI V2: Brand Voice Memory, Analytics Dashboard, and More

Today we're launching LocalReply AI V2 — the biggest update since we started. V2 transforms LocalReply from a simple reply generator into a complete review management platform for local businesses.

1. Brand Voice Memory

This is our most requested feature and our biggest differentiator. LocalReply AI now learns how you write and adapts to your style over time.

Set up your brand voice with:

  • Preferred openings — "Hey [name]!", "So glad you stopped by!"
  • Signature style — "— Mario & the team"
  • Banned words — Words the AI should never use
  • Brand keywords — Your signature dishes, services, or specialties
  • Voice description — Describe your style in your own words

But here's the magic: every time you edit an AI-generated reply before posting it, LocalReply learns from your edits. The more you use it, the more it sounds like you. Each reply now shows a Voice Match Score so you can see how well the AI captured your style.

Why this matters: Google is rolling out its own AI reply suggestions, but they're generic — the same tone for every business. Brand Voice Memory means your replies have a unique "fingerprint" that no generic tool can replicate.

2. Review Analytics Dashboard

LocalReply is no longer just about replying — it's about understanding your reviews. The new Analytics Dashboard gives you:

  • Overview cards — Total reviews, average rating, reply rate vs industry average, sentiment breakdown
  • Rating trend chart — 6-month view of your rating and review volume
  • Topic clusters — AI automatically identifies what customers talk about most (positive and negative)

3. Multi-Platform: Yelp Support

LocalReply now works on Yelp Business Owner pages in addition to Google Business Profile. The same one-click reply generation, with platform-specific optimizations:

  • Yelp-appropriate tone (more personal and story-driven)
  • No promotional links (against Yelp TOS)
  • Platform badge on each reply so you always know where you're posting

4. Negative Review Recovery Workflow

Bad reviews don't have to stay bad. The new 3-step recovery workflow helps you systematically turn unhappy customers into advocates:

  1. Public reply — Acknowledge, apologize, invite offline contact (already in V1)
  2. Private follow-up — AI generates a personal email/DM template with specific resolution offer
  3. Thank-you follow-up — After resolution, post a warm follow-up reply

Track all your open cases in the Recovery Dashboard, see which step each case is on, and mark them resolved when done.

5. Smart Alerts

Never miss a review again. LocalReply now checks for new reviews every 30 minutes and sends you a Chrome desktop notification when one arrives. Negative reviews get priority alerts so you can respond fast.
